I must be insane.

I use version control software with my programming files (code, music, images, etc) - PerForce, because it’s free for home use, and has all the features I like.  This software essentially lets you store off versions of files you write, so that you can look back on the history to see a) why you did something and b) go back to a previous version in case of error.

I’ve started using this software with my costuming files (text descriptions, pictures, and so on)  now.  There must be something wrong with me.  In my defense, I use it because it also makes it easy to share the latest version of those files between my main, secondary, and laptop computers.

So far, it’s working out rather well.  But I still feel like I’m insane.
