Since my local U-Haul has hours that pretty closely match my work schedule, I decided to drop by my local FedEx/Kinko’s to grab a couple of moving boxes last night. However, while I was trying to buy, the cashier was trying to give away – I ended up purchasing 3 medium boxes for my books, and she gave me 2 (used) big boxes, as well as a bunch of boxes from copier paper. She said to come back if I needed more of the copier paper boxes especially, since they’re great for heavy items (like books), and Kinko’s always has a ton of them.
Anyway, I just thought that was really cool. It’s not every store that will turn away your money when you’re trying to buy something, just so they can give it to you for free.
